Hey, is your necklace in the shape of Idaho? I spent all my childhood in Pocatello, apart from two years in Moscow.

My husband likes plaaaaain hats too – I’ve resorted to a garter brim with a stockinette body. He does wear one I made from the Starving Musician pattern on Rav, though – it was fun to knit in Malabrigo Chunky.

hey, i just want to say that i totally don’t agree that some fibre is “too good” for a beginner! if you love it, don’t hesitate to use it!! you can always buy more later, right? my greatest discovery re: spindle spinning as a beginner is that no matter how “badly” i think i do it, the final result has actually, surprisingly, came out knittable every single time! there’s no such thing as “wasting” fibre, it’s investing in learning a new skill 😉 allow yourself to be surprised by how beautiful something can turn out, despite your lack of experience..! best of luck! 🙂 ❤
