Unbalanced
A week later, and I am still relishing every moment of knitting for pleasure. I am so incredibly in love with knitting right now.
As I said I would, I cast on two projects last Wednesday. The first was Henslowe, a gorgeous garter stitch and lace shawl by Beth Kling. I’m using Malabrigo sock in Archangel, which is a mix of pinks and oranges and purples.
The second was Thermis, a cowl I’ve knit before, several years ago. It was the first cowl I made, and this time around I’m making the larger size – I like cowls to be a little loose around my neck. The yarn is one of my all-time favorites, Brooklyn Tweed Shelter (in Sweatshirt), and it the most perfect wooly wool.
As with every other time I’ve had more than one project on the needles, one always wins out and the other barely gets worked on.
All that’s left to do on Thermis is bind off. Two finished projects in a week? Not bad!

Not bad at all! Thermis looks super cozy.
