Kid in a candy store
You would think, given that I’ve been knitting pretty much nothing but swatches for FOUR MONTHS STRAIGHT, that I am certifiably insane would be a tad bit eager to knit whatever I want as soon as the final swatch came off the needles, which it did on Saturday afternoon.
Instead, because I am a glorious mix of slightly neurotic and type-a, I spent the first few hours after finishing having this conversation with myself: Am I done? I can’t really be done. Am I forgetting something? What if I’m not doing enough? Should I knit some more swatches that I already decided I didn’t need to knit just to be even more thorough? Aaaand, repeat.
Finally I got tired of myself and cast on another Porom with some Dream in Color Classy to shut my brain up.
HAT HAT HAT HOW DID I LIVE WITHOUT A GREEN HAT MUST KNIT HAT AND ALL THE OTHER FUN THINGS CAST ON MY ENTIRE QUEUE FOREVERRRRRR.
Seriously, you guys. I am so high on yarn fumes right now. This hat will be finished by the time this post goes up, and then I’m going to cast on a shawl and a cowl BECAUSE I CAN. Do you know how many times in my life I’ve cast on two projects on the same day? NEVER.
I’M FREEEEEEEEEEE*.
* Until this weekend. When I have to start working on the project again.

Ooooo! Greeeennn Hat!
yay that green is gorgeous! I’m so happy for you that the end is in sight!
Love the hat…must see pictures of you wearing it! xoxoox
Love the green, love your yarn fumes high, and love that you’re casting on with no care. Yay! I cast on for the orchid thief this week!
