Usually, when ready to cast on for a new project, I’ll look through my stash, and if no yarns excite me I’ll get online and search for something that suits my fancy. But this time around, the yarn chose the project.

Eventually I would have gotten around to knitting the Lacy Baktus. It’s such a simple, sophisticated project. But the moment I saw the pattern, my dearly loved skein of Sundara Sock in Acorn Squash piped up from the stash “that’s it! pick me!”

And who am I to deny a skein its dreams? Hope you’re happy, little guy.

VERY nice!!!
does it tie in the back? or just drape around? beautiful autumn colors!
It’s lovely. Did you use the entire skein?
Very pretty! The colors are perfect for fall.
Perfect colours! I have Bactus on my “oh, I HAVE to do this, I really really really have to..” for a while, but colour inspiration hasn’t struck yet. Is the little guy still happy with the design it got?
