Monday Mail
Today has been a busy day! Since it looks like this will be the only nice day all week, the husband and I spent our day in our yard weeding and planting.
We planted three tomato plants, five raspberry bushes, a burning bush (which will look like this one in a couple years), and transplanted a lilac bush from our front yard to the side. Phew! We were going to plant strawberries, but the nursery we went to didn’t have them in yet.

I had a great mail day today: a skein each of MamaBlue Seawool in Mermaid and MadelineTosh Worsted in Ginger arrived. I love the ginger so much I will definetely be buying enough for a sweater.
Time to work on my sweater! On Thursday I set a goal to have 11″ done by the end of today, and I have an inch and a half left to go.
Beautiful colors! Were did you purchase them! The ginger is so awesome- would be a BEAUTIFUL sweater! >_<

Brave to plant tomatoes so early! We love our burning bush too. Ginger color – lovely!

I love the Mermaid color!
I’m always so jealous of people of when they start talking about all their gardening activities. I love the theory of it, but I just can’t see myself actually doing it. Maybe one day.
The new yarn is beautiful, particularly the Ginger. It’d be great for a sweater!
Sounds like a busy day in the garden!
And those two skeins are just gorgeous!! I have that Ginger in my stash just waiting to be something pretty!! A sweater would be gorgeous!!
