Change Kitties can Believe in
What change has got kitties coming together, including black kitties who love snuggling and playing with ballpoint pens, and tabby cats who are highly skeptical of everything but the sound of opening the cupboard door where his food is kept?

That would be the decision to keep my craft room door open, allowing them access to the ugly chair.
I took a break from the Garter Yoke Cardigan I’m working on to finish a sock I’m making for my Dad.

Dad is an electrician, and he needs heavy socks during the winter.

They’re a simple 3×1 rib, toe up, made with Cascade 220 in color 9402. I’ve started working on the cardigan again, and hope to have the it AND the second sock finished by the end of the month. That’s less than two weeks from today. Yeah, it probably won’t happen.

I’ll be watching the inauguration coverage all day tomorrow, which means lots of knitting time. But still, all this stockinette stitch is slow going.
Here are more photos of my kids from yesterday:

Our house wouldn’t be our house without them.
Give kitty peace a chance! Glad to see they’re getting along.
I love stockinette and garter stitch for TV viewing. I don’t have to look at the knitting, and it magically gets done while I’m being amused. Have a good day tomorrow!
Is that my two grandchildren on the same chair…together??? Kitties if left alone become friends – why is it so hard for mankind??? Oh yeah, greed and power! I will be with you in spirit tomorrow!
