Cats and socks, but not socks on cats
Remember that one time where I was like ‘we adopted a cat and named her Naomi?’ Scratch that last part. Her name is Zoey now, because Naomi has too many syllables. Things with her are getting better. Andy is still unhappy but has quit growling non-stop from the moment he sees her. The first litter we put in her litter box she didn’t like, and was going to the bathroom wherever she pleased because of it. We’ve switched litter, she’s using her box now, but has peed on me for two nights in a row now. So things with her are still a work in progress, much like my sock.

How was that for a segue? I’m on the homestretch of the sock now. If I spent the rest of the afternoon knitting and watching Doctor Who I bet I could finish it up by tonight.

I need to finish these socks up. It’s been two months since I did any work on my February Lady Sweater, and the part of me that doesn’t like having more than one project going at a time is insisting that I finish it by the end of the year.
Yesterday afternoon was spent taking and editing pictures of the yarn I’ve aquired since the end of August. Since everything was so topsy-turvey around here because of the move I had fallen way, way behind. Here’s a few of my favorites:

Wollmeise Sockenwolle in Turkis und Karneol

Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock Lightweight in Lunasea

Sundara Silk Lace in Amazon Gold
Glad things are going better with Zoey. I didn’t even think about changing the litter, good call! All will be well.
Ooh, pretty pretty yarns!!
