Fin.

The name of these socks are what they are because the colors remind me so very much of Rocky Road ice cream. The first sock was finished in August, and when I left for Nashville at the beginning of the month I’d only completed the toe of the second. I knitted through my flight to Denver, then onto Nashville and through the first day of the conference I was attending, finishing the sock up on the second day.

I’m not sure who these are going to be for. I may keep them, I may give them away. I knew that I wanted them finished by the end of the year – the idea of having a half-finished project laying around through the New Year was unthinkable.

Rocky Road socks, modified Charade pattern. Knit with Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock in Lightweight, color Terra Firma. Size 1 1/2 needles.
The new house is lovely. I am so happy here. We spent our first night on Thursday the 13th, and a little over a week later it already feels like home. There are still boxes almost everywhere you look, so it will still be awhile before I take pictures to show you. But from here on out blog posts should become a lot more regular again.

The socks are very pretty! If you need someone to send them to, I’ll take them
Congratulations again on your new home!
