Sundara Seasons Club: August Shipment
2 Sep
Today I received my August shipment of yarn from the Sundara Seasons Club.

Mahogany over Marmalade
100% silk lace, 1000 yards

Honeyed Hibiscus
100% silk lace, 1000 yards

Midnight Meadows
Merino wool, 350 yards

Crushed Cherries
100% silk lace, 1000 yards
I’m not sure what I’m going to any of them yet, but they are very pretty. Crushed cherries was especially hard to photograph.
Remember last week how I said my husband and I were looking to rent a house? Well, somehow that has evolved into us putting an offer in to buy a home. We’re excited. We’re scared. The bid went in Sunday night, and we should hear something back by 5 p.m. tomorrow. Cross all your fingers for us!
My caplet turned cardigan is coming along smoothly. The body is finished and I’m halfway done with one sleeve.

It should take me only a few more hours to finish. And then I’ve got to get going on socks for my sister!

Fingers crossed for you! A first house is milestone.
The Crushed Cherries are my favorite, but I think it says a lot that I love the Mahogany over Marmalade. I don’t even like brown, but the depth of color there is amazing!
Hey k!! I’ve not fallen off the face of the earth, yet. Getting the kiddos back in school and dealing with trying to get the schedules straight of 10 individuals and all their goings-on:)
LOVE the Sundara. I’ve not yet been able to snag any – I’ve wanted to try some sock yarn from her. LOVE both Crushed Cherries and Mahogany over Marmalade colors; they’re both lush. Oh, and the sweater is looking sweet also.
Whenever you’re ready to knit kneesocks let me know – I’ve got two skeins of Hot Flash setting around waiting. I do need to finish up my two orphaned socks first and it shouldn’t take too long (we can always hope
