So Sorry Little Blog

You’ve kind of gotten the shaft lately. The thing is, it’s either you or the knitting, and I’ll choose the knitting any day. Tough Love.

I’ve been working on a big non-knitting related project, but it will be turned in this afternoon and hopefully life will calm down after today. I had a lovely 4th filled with family, food, and fireworks, but do you think I remembered my camera? Ha! This weekend I’m going camping with my family, and I’ll try to get some good knitting in nature shots.

I managed to finish one of the socks I’ve been working on this morning:

I actually finished it late last night, but I had to rip out the bind off and do it over this morning. My bind offs are really tight, and while I usually like it for most other projects, it makes the top of my sock too tight to get over my ankle!

This is my first toe-up sock, and I’m completely sold. I like it SO much better! I used Wendy’s pattern, which you can see here.
