Greetings from Boise
I’m down in Boise for work. The work part doesn’t actually start until tomorrow, so today is all about relaxing. Within 15 minutes of being at the hotel I had put on my PJs, crawled under the covers, and was knitting away.
Speaking of knitting, I only have nine more inches left on the middle section of my scarf/shawl/stole thing! That’s nothing! If I knit for the rest of today, and tomorrow during the seminar, I should be ready to start the end section.

It looks tame curled up, but check out how long it is stretched out on the bed:

To give you an idea of how long this is, if I let it hang with the end touching the floor it comes up to my shoulders. And I’m 5’6″.
By the time I’m finished, it will have been over a month since I started. I didn’t expect it to go so slow. I’ve finished sweaters in less time than this. Before beginning I liked this pattern so much I considered making a few, all with different yarns. That won’t happen.
So sleepy. I stayed in this hotel last month and the beds are super comfy. Thought if I made a blog post I might wake up a little. I thought wrong.
Beautiful! & Have a good trip, dear! xo
I love it!
